Services

Materials loan [1st floor]

Library users may borrow books to take home. Loans are processed at the Reserve desk. Books from the Circulation, Puerto Rico, and Young Adult collections are available for a two-week loan period and may be renewed at the end of that period if they have not been requested by another user. Books from the Reserve collection may also be borrowed for use within the library. These are available for a maximum of two hours. A University ID is required for all loans.

Group study [2nd floor]

The library has two group study rooms that can accommodate two to five people. These rooms are available for two-hour rentals, and a university ID is required to use them.

Internet access

The Library offers internet access for research, primarily for academic purposes. All internet searches must adhere to the Christian moral standards promoted by this University.

Group orientation and instruction (face-to-face and virtual)

Professors coordinate bibliographic instruction sessions for their courses with librarians. These sessions can be offered virtually or in person.

Interlibrary Loans [1st floor]

When our library does not have the necessary information, we can arrange a loan from another library. We can also fulfill requests from other libraries. This service is requested from the Reference Librarian.

Photocopies [1st floor]

For your convenience, photocopiers have been installed on the first floor that allow you to print from the computers in the Computer Center, photocopy, and scan in black and white or color. The coin mechanism accepts five, ten, and twenty-five cent coins , as well as $1.00 and $5.00 bills. Black and white copies cost 10 cents, and color copies cost 50 cents. Scanning is free. Photocopying entire books or portions that infringe copyright is not permitted.
