The University SMS Messaging Program provides text communications related to:

  • Enrollment notifications
  • Appointment reminders

  • Academic and administrative notifications
  • Other important university-related information

This program delivers informational messages only and does not include marketing, promotional content, or third-party advertising.

2. Opt-In (How Consent Is Provided)

Individuals may opt in to receive SMS communications by voluntarily providing their mobile phone number through official university channels such as:

  • Admissions forms
  • University registration forms
  • Contact forms (only where SMS consent is clearly disclosed)
  • Student Information System (SIS) processes
  • Official university communication preferences

Consent is obtained through a clear and affirmative action, such as selecting an optional unchecked SMS consent checkbox presented next to the phone number field on official university forms, or submitting a form where SMS messaging consent is explicitly disclosed.

SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or enrollment.

3. Opt-Out Instructions

Recipients may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message received.

After opting out, the recipient will no longer receive SMS messages from the University unless they re-subscribe through an official university channel.

Consent records are maintained by the University in accordance with applicable regulations.

4. Message Frequency and Cost

Message frequency varies. Recipients may receive up to 4 messages per month based on individual engagement with University services and preferences. Message & data rates may apply. The University is not responsible for any charges incurred from text messaging or automated calls.
