Description

Designed for any student who wishes to acquire basic biblical knowledge that will enable them to provide useful service to the church and their community, or as a requirement for those hoping to teach religion at the primary or secondary level.

Goals

  1. To be the primary source of communication of the knowledge of God as Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer to the student body and the community at large of Antillean.
  2. Contribute to the creation of a spiritual environment that facilitates the development of a positive religious experience in our university community.
  3. To train future pastors, chaplains, evangelists, Bible teachers, and church administrators who are willing to fulfill the mission of the Church.
  4. Contribute to the effectiveness of the programs offered by the Department of Religion through an ongoing evaluation process by students, faculty, and administrators.
  5. Contribute to the wise management of human, natural, physical, and technological resources available to the Department of Religion and Music.
  6. Contribute to students’ academic progress through efficient support services.
  7. To provide training opportunities for Christian leadership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
