The Master’s degree in Special Education addresses the need to develop teachers with the skills needed to offer adapted teaching, thereby meeting the individual needs of students with disabilities and other challenges.
Throughout their academic development, students will be able to identify behaviors associated with developmental difficulties and how these relate to their academic performance. They will be able to establish an individualized educational plan tailored to their needs.
The majority of students with special needs participate in the regular stream, in public and private schools, so it is necessary for all teachers to know strategies for working with diversity in the classroom.
