Last Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM (Puerto Rico time), the alumni gathering entitled “For the Next Generation” took place. The main venue was the University’s Media Center, located on the second floor of the Benjamin Perez Soto Building. Two other locations joined the gathering: the East Puerto Rico Adventist Association and the Florida Conference.
The Board of Directors of the Alumni Association prepared an interesting and dynamic program, in which we had the opportunity to listen to interviews with representatives of the different generations (by decade), briefly expressing what legacy they received from the generation that preceded them and what legacy they left to those who succeeded them.
Plans were also announced to complete the UAA’s most emblematic and strategic project, the University Temple. We are confident that, with God’s help and the gratitude of our alumni, we will be able to complete construction next year. We encourage you to contact friends, colleagues, and family members to ask for one last donation for the University Temple. We have set a goal of reaching $65,000.00, at a rate of one thousand dollars per year since the founding of the CAD in 1958. You can make your donation using the option on this page.
