A: Even though the native language is Spanish some of the textbooks are in English.
Q: Are there required freshman courses for students who do not speak Spanish?
A: For the first two semesters students whose first language is other than Spanish are strongly encouraged to take six credits in Basic Spanish.
Q: If I start to study and then decide to change my major. How is that done?
A: Yes. You will have to fill out a document provided by the Registrar’s Office.
Q: Do I need to pay anything on registration day?
A: If your financial aid does not cover all your tuition and expenses, you will be required to pay a 50% amount in order to register. Each case will be evaluated by staff of the Student Finance Office to determine the amount of the payment required.
Q: If my F-1 Student Visa is denied, what happens to the money that I sent for the deposit?
A: If the visa is denied, the remaining amount after deducting the cost remittance will be reimbursed.

Q: Is it required for a student to live on campus?
A: Not necessarily. We have many students who live nearby with their families. Others choose from a variety of Community housing.

A: Actually we do not have one. But we have a couple of banks nearby where you can find ATM’s.
Q: Are the places nearby to purchase clothes, food, book and other necessities?
