What is our Distance Education Program?

It is a learning variant in which the professor / facilitator is not physically present with the student.

Types of Courses

  • Present/Concurrent: Classes that meet all of the time with the professor.
  • Complemented: Classes that meet all of the time with the professor and have on-line resources
  • Hybrid: Classes that meet 60% of the time with the professor, and 40% of the time on-line. Related activities will be integrated through the CAMS System
  • On-line: These classes meet on-line all the time

On-Line Options

Requirements for On-line Course Registration
  • Comply with all of the requirements for admission and be officially registered with the Antillean.
    Before registering for the course, one must speak with the appropriate representative of the Department of Graduate Studies, Continuing Education, or Distance Education (EGECED) to be tested.
  • If the learner receives a grade of 70% or less, that student receives instruction through a professor whereupon he/she will receive knowledge concerning the use of the DOKEOS platform.
  • Read and sign a document concerning the procedures and the rules to be observed for on-line courses.
