Continuing Education and Resource Training
The Continuing Education program, through courses, seminars, and workshops, exists with the fundamental purpose of providing training and professional and personal growth to the community in general. Those who comply with the established requirements will receive a Continuing Education Units certificate (CEU).
The units are recorded in the following manner: 10 contact hours are equal to one (1 CEU) unit of Continuing Education. Three units of Continuing Education (3 CEU) are equal to one academic credit. In order for a student to receive the credit or credits corresponding to the unit or units of Continuing Education, the student must fulfill the attendance requirements, plus all of the course requirements. There are occasions in which a special task will be required as well, assigned by the professor so that a particular grade might be offered to the Antillean’s Registrar’s Office.
In the majority of the cases, in order to offer a course, a registration of more than 10 students is required. There are discounts available, and in addition, we offer a payment plan for those students who take more than one course in Continuing Education. To reserve space in any course, a non-refundable minimum of 25% of the cost of the course must be paid. If the Antillean cancels the course, the money paid will be reimbursed.
