The EGECED Structure (Graduate School, Continuing Education, and Distanced Education) under the Adventist Christian Education context relies on three programs which serve the general community in different areas. It seeks to satisfy human needs in the search for knowledge, providing opportunities for training and modernization in professional and personal improvement.

Graduate Program

The Master’s Program prepares education professionals who see the student as the center and the focus of learning.

Master of Arts in Education
We offers Master of Arts in Education which may be completed in any of the following specialties:

  • School Administration and Supervision
  • Curriculum and Elementary level Instruction
  • ESL Instruction – Elementary Level
  • Curriculum and Instruction – Secondary level
  • Specialty in Spanish
  • Specialty in History
  • Specialty in Biology

Continuing Education program

Professional, Personal Improvement
The EGECED Structure relies on its EDUCATE Program, which designs courses directed toward personal and professional improvement, as well as courses which focus on health professionals.

Certifications
Our services focus on satisfying the needs for the updating and certification of health professionals and for the community at large. The following ecclesiastical certificates are offered:

  • Religious Leadership
  • Ecclesiastical Administration
  • Ministry for the Youth

Health Professionals

We offer courses that comply with the Examining Boards of various health professions in order for our students to receive the contact hours required for the renewal of their licenses.

Modules Offered

Distanced Education
Distance Education has as its goal the promotion of an interactive system that gives individuals access to the academic offerings, professional and personal improvement that are not limited by barriers of time and space. The program offers on-line courses prepared on the DOKEOS platform that the learner might use at any time. The learner must have the following:

  • Computer skills
  • Knowledge for surfing web-pages
  • A computer with high-speed internet
  • An up-to-date E-mail account
