This institution strives to prepare competent professionals that can serve society and the Seventh-Day Adventist Church unselfishly. The mission is carried out in a Christian environment through its curriculum, through its teaching and learning process, its educational research, by the administration, faculty, and staff.

The University, intends to accomplish the following objectives with its students:

• Broaden the knowledge of God as Creator and Sustainer of all things, and Restorer of humanity
• Instill Christian moral values
• Promote genuine interest in serving God, the Church, and Humanity
• Share the Adventist legacy and promote its lifestyle with its ethical, social, and cultural implications
• Respect human beings without discrimination
• Increase understanding of basic principles and concepts of sciences (natural and social), arts, and humanities
• Deepen knowledge and master skills in the chosen field of study
• Develop critical thinking
• Promote interest in continuing education
• Foster appreciation for dignified work and the development of acceptable workplace behaviors
