Biografía
Natural from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Graduated of a Baccalaureate degree of Sciences-Respiratory Care (Magna Cum Laude- highest GPA in the class) in 1992 from the Metropolitan University (UMET) in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Started working as a Respiratory Therapist in 1992 at Bella Vista Hospital after passing the Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), offered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). In July of 1993 moved to Cranford, New Jersey and started working as CRTT at Irvington General Hospital. By 1994 became a Register Respiratory Therapist, given by the NBRC at the New York University and was selected as “TOPS†(employee of the month) at mentioned hospital in Irvington city. In 1996 moved to Tampa Bay, Florida where became a Coordinator/Lead therapist at Bayfront Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Hospital. By 2000, selected as Bayfront Medical Center Respiratory Therapist of the year. By 2001 received a call from the SDA Church to teach at Antillean Adventist University, Respiratory Care Program in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. While teaching at UAA, in 2008 completed a Master degree in Education: Curriculum and Instruction – Specialty Biology.
