Professional Development Portfolio
Undergraduate Level
The undergraduate professional portfolio is designed so that candidates in the Teacher Preparation Program may provide documentation that reflects the competencies that are related to the fundamental objectives of the School of Education’s Conceptual Framework. It is a representation of the professionalism of each candidate of the undergraduate program.
All candidates in the undergraduate programs are required to submit a professional portfolio. The portfolio will be evaluated on four data points:
- EDUC 101
- Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program
- Admission to the teaching practice
- At the end of the teaching practice
This evidence includes work submitted in different courses with Educational Clinical Experience and life experience. Candidates in the undergraduate programs are expected to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of committed professionals, which will allow them to become effective educators and servant-leaders.
